Today’s classes in Wickham... 🎨✨️

The general group also kicked off their Around the World block today, starting in Australia 🇦🇺. We explored Aboriginal dot art and created some brilliant animal-inspired pieces, full of pattern and personality.

The Silver Masterclass turned into a 1:1 session today, which meant we could really dive in. We’ve started their Culture & Identity block, exploring a range of techniques and influences, from Aboriginal dot art as well to Sumi-e painting, and Islamic geometric patterns. Safe to say it was a very full (and very creative!) session.

It’s my birthday, and honestly, there’s no better way to spend it than a full day of art 🎨✨

🌸 Wickham in Bloom – Online Competition 🌸

The online voting is now LIVE and it couldn’t be easier to take part!

Today’s Home Ed session in Fareham brought something a little different… and it’s safe to say it was a hit 🌍✨

The general group kicked off our brand new Around the World block, a slight twist on our usual structure, but such a fun way to weave in a little geography alongside creativity.

We started our journey in Australia 🇦🇺, exploring Aboriginal dot art, learning about Dreamtime, and discovering the story of the Rainbow Serpent. The students then created their own animal-inspired dot art pieces, full of pattern and patience.

Next stop… Japan 🇯🇵 for Notan Art 🎌

Meanwhile, our Silver Masterclass students have officially begun their final block - Leadership. Today was all about initial planning, and they’ve chosen to explore Tableau Vivant (Living Painting) photography. The ideas already coming through are incredibly exciting, and I can’t wait to see how they bring them to life 📸✨

🎨 Painting wildflowers with 🪻💐

Have you ever wanted to paint wildflowers? Come and learn how to paint a beautiful selection of wildflowers with Alison Jane on her upcoming watercolour wildflower course at Creative Sparks Studio.

The session will begin with an introduction for how to create different effects using watercolours, how to create different marks and shapes using watercolours, leading to creating stunning wildflowers. We will work through each flower step by step: you will be so impressed with what you paint!

This course is suitable for beginners and beyond!

During the session, it’s always a calm and friendly atmosphere, with a relaxing vibe: perfect for your mindfulness and relaxation.
