We meet on the THIRD Sunday of each month, 1.30pm–4.30pm, with occasional guest performers. Friendly traditional folk music — everyone very welcome.

Just a reminder to all our regular members, friends, and anyone who enjoys live acoustic music that Pennine Folk Club will be holding its normal monthly meeting this coming Sunday afternoon at Stocksmoor Village Hall.

We’re delighted to announce that at our Sunday 19th July meeting, we will welcome the return of Ruairidh Greig — singer, songwriter, collector, and a superb performer who many of you will remember from his previous visit, when he treated us to some wonderful songs and a thoroughly entertaining guest appearance.

So make a note for July — it promises to be another great afternoon of live folk music.

🎶 A Little Taste of Sunday at Pennine Folk Club… 🎶

We were delighted to welcome the wonderfully talented Druce & Jones Trio to Pennine Folk Club on Sunday afternoon.

Emily, Steve and Robin gave us a fantastic guest performance full of warmth, musicianship and great songs — here’s a little snippet of what we enjoyed.

A huge thank you to them for a wonderful afternoon, and to everyone who came along and made it another friendly and enjoyable gathering.

(And yes… if you missed it, you missed a good one 😉)

THE CLUB STARTS AT 1.30pm AND FINISHES AT 4.30pm

The weekend will soon be with us, and we have a fabulous Sunday afternoon of Live music for you.

From 1.30pm until 4.30pm, we will have our own very talented and enthusiastic floor singers, musicians and storytellers.

We’re looking forward to welcoming the Druce & Jones Trio for a special guest slot this Sunday.

They will be entertaining us with a mix of folk, blues and roots, and a great blend of vocals, guitars, fiddle and accordion, they bring experience, energy and a real love of live performance.

They’ll be performing a 45-minute guest spot during the afternoon session.
