“Soak up the sun” £95 ( 20 x 25 cm)
I created a new illustrative original in the sunshine this week . Maisie snoozed in the warm sun while I took my little studio outside onto my decking …Bliss!
I love , they’re so bold and happy. I created this one on a rustic wooden chunky block . It’s unframed because the edges of the wood are too gorgeous to hide .
I came across this beautiful little simple poem … seemed to epitomise everything about the essence of this glorious sun loving flower
The Sunflower turns on her god, when he sets,
The same look which she turned when he rose;
Her faith is as warm as the light which he lets,
And her hope like the sun only glows.
