Tucked away in the shade yesterday trying to finish my "Bracelet Bay Seals"...I saw these four cheeky chappies one morning in may. They were very curious about a helicopter hovering over the lighthouse and I knew I had to paint them!

Last night I drew a self portrait - it's not this 😂 but this was my reference image. I've had this idea for a self portrait in my head all week and before I can get back to painting beautiful Mumbles I had to get this idea out of my head....it's a bit Raw and perhaps a bit vulnerable but I filmed it and thought I'd upload it tonight.
Perhaps our best art is the most vulnerable? The ones we aren't sure the world wants to see. But I think alot of people probably live with the same feelings and thoughts I do so by sharing it I wonder if they'll feel seen. 💗

😱WIP recording and I caught my 8 year old saying this! 😱...we're in a Dr Seuss phase in this house and I was gobsmacked when the cat said a very rude phrase in the movie! 😂 Safe to say my kids hooked on to it and find it hilarious 🤦 ....also can you tell what my work in progress picture is?!
