Today's topic managing time and I decided to get one of my tasks for the day started. A couple of simple graffiti ideas playing with the words and thanks to the generosity of I own one of the giraffe tower NFTs and I'm a member of the Gary Creators house 🏡 in the Clubhouse app which is a really special proud moment. These two people have made such a massive change in my life as I'm building my brand and gaining so much knowledge on how to be successful in business or as we like to call it. My insomnia meds are back on prescription and I won't be missing the first OPEN EVENING since being back in AWOL STUDIOS and the first of many more to come

An oil painting done by memory based on trip to Venice in 1998 painted this when I got into 3-4 years ago..
The first I painted in 2009 in wind rain snow during one of Manchester’s worst winters. 129 hours to complete and I was heavily misusing illicit substances and alcohol .. and featured in the book published by a charity providing food for the disadvantaged and homeless im posting old work in a frenzy as I have an open call to apply for tomorrow and I got locked out of my account thanks to a scammer totally gutted as that page has gone private too and it hold all my , and since 2015 when I got clean thanks to now
Choosing some images to put in my portfolio for the .io artists application opening in two days time. I only gone and found these freakish photos.. the things I do when left all alone eh.. and the pain to put one lens on my eye. I swear down
A few years ago when I was last in a studio at AWOL studios Ancoats, I started to do re-creations of Old Master Artist’s work but reworking them with contemporary real life themes
Gritty reality of today’s society and my own personal life experiences around substance misuse etc etc
I knocked a couple of sketches up last night whilst studying geometry and the harmonies in music, or art, that go hand in hand. So here’s a couple of compositions with a twist.
As a contemporary artist this is the same essential knowledge learned by the Master Artist of days gone bye.
Learning how music and art correlate with each other due to golden sections/ divine proportions and the measure of scales or sine waves, I now have a few ideas ready to go on canvas.

It’s been raining harddddd so the phone has stayed in the pocket no art selfies today
Ever since school I’ve struggled to leave the house quickly without causing stress and anxiety.
I would rather do my daily start at my pace. Any day I don’t follow my routine of warming myself up with the fam heater, a couple of pots of espresso, watch a documentary and then have a good hour long bath.
Only then am I ready to get dressed and leave the house.
I do know Autistic traits play a huge part in the daily routine I MUST have. When I don’t follow my routine, many folk won’t understand what a stress that causes inside, knowing I’ve left home in an unusual manner, I’ll be out all day thinking about the things I’ve not done before leaving the house,
Putting the milk back in the fridge, did I wrap the bacon up and put that back a whole heap of raving thoughts all day.
Besides that craziness going on in my daily mind, I also have the combined factors of ADHD that come into the mix. Like leaving bathroom taps open and water flooding all four floors of the building.
Leaving teatowels under the grill with the grill on, only to return home to find a charred wall where flames may or may not have occurred…
Today.. I’m leaving home early with a calm mind in foreground to paint some more on Mona Lisa, though the background mind is whirring away like little mice anxious about all the little things I know I’ve done correctly but until I get home I won’t be 100% sure.
For now it’s doing what I love time and bring me one day closer the to completion of The Graffiti Rainbow Mona Lisa

Here’s the latest in a series of drawings, I’ve began making at places I’ve found peace of mind & solace in the past. Or interesting places I’m currently visiting, while having mobility issues. That are somewhat preventing my usual countryside activities..
Learning to adjust to another life changing incident doesn’t get any easier.
Without the Teachings of the Great Buddha and without Right Understanding in the practices of Dharma, I can tell you my head wouldn’t be in a place to make art. So I’m thankful for each moment, in each day that the wind blows across my face and I see another blue sky.
