What’s on this week?
🌟 It’s been a busy day today up at the play centre and there is more fun to come this week!
✏️ Starting School Series continues on Wednesday morning at 9am with sessions for anyone starting Reception in September! This is not aimed at a particular school but will be focused on building skills to help your little one feel school ready!
📚 Old Basing Infants transition session Wednesday afternoon at 12:30
🙌🏻 SEND friendly fun in the village tomorrow! Reduced capacity all day Tuesdays to help little ones not feel overwhelmed
If you fancy just a quick visit too remember you can come for just 30 minutes as a walk in customer! No need to book, just turn up to play! Walk ins only on sessions before 3:30 to help with staffing.

Literally the BEST party I’ve had the pleasure to help plan today! Party mum got in touch a few months ago with her ideas for a vets themed party with pets adopted from charity shops! I LOVE the eco friendly stance behind this and when she told me the crafts she had in mind I jumped at the chance to get involved! I loved having the opportunity to switch up our hair dressers into the dog groomers or pet salon and its hair to say there were some very pampered pooches and kitties at this party! Party mum added some fruity spritz sprays and I made sure there were lots of gorgeous bows and sparkles for the pets to look their best! The party guests had all named their pets with their adoption certificates and then made cute little beaded collars with their names on too! Simply LUSH!
The biggest thank you for letting me get involved in this, I loved watching how completely engrossed and engaged in their play the children were and it truly made my day! 🌍✨ Happy International Day of Play! ✨🌍

Play is often seen as something children do for fun, but it is so much more than that.

All change up at the play centre this afternoon as we swapped out the Farm which has firmly become a much loved area in its debut visit and reintroduced the vets play area! Dobin had a stable build for him during another school visit this week and today we think it must have been a field being built!
It’s a busy day in the village tomorrow with lots of villagers booked to attend for Great Binfields School transition session at 12:30 but there is space to play at 9am and in the 10:30am session if you are looking to escape the rain! Come and join Ghislaine and Frank in the village! Meanwhile I’m heading off to Rainbow Nursery tomorrow morning for a session with them. I’ll post some highlights from our visit tomorrow.
