Warbirds and Poppies by Clickety Pics

The Battle of Britain Memorial flight consisting of the Lancaster Bomber, Spitfire and Hurricane South Oxfordshire countryside in this digital montage of my BBMF photographs and a poppy field.

The idea was suggested to me many years ago to use my poppy field images with some of my warbird photographs. The poppies in the hedgerow of a farm field was near Henley on Thames and made a suitable background for the image I had in mind.

The aircraft images used in this picture were quite possibly taken from a vantage point near Duxford to get the Head-on aspect I needed, all images were subsequently processed in photoshop.

Here at Lens Art we use Paypal to process payments securely with SSL security layer in place, no payment details are ever stored with us.

You don't need a Paypal account to make payments, as Paypal will process the majority of credit and debit cards that you possess. For those that DO have a Paypal account, you can take advantage of their Pay Later options which allows you to split payments in up 4 parts (subject to eligibility).

We're back! All tested and set up on our new e-commerce platform - about 2/3 of our print products are up and the rest will go on in the next week or so.

To celebrate ALL prints are discounted by 10% up until the 19th April.

Quick Heads Up folks...

Lens Art is currently down and marked as undergoing maintenance - in reality we are testing a new platform and beginning the process of cataloguing all the artwork in our store.

The testing and tidying up may take a week or so, and once we are happy that everything is functioning as it should we will reopen for business.

Finishing uploading of our catalogue will probably take another week or two, after which we expect to begin adding NEW artwork to the site.

Photographed in January 2019, stunning and captivating white Chrysanthemums placed in a contrasting white bowl. Chrysanthemums are a flower that symbolises joy and optimism. A favourite choice among florists and other flower enthusiasts especially during Autumn and is arguably the most popular flower in the world after the rose.

A late season dazzler, Chrysanthemums were cultivated in China as early as 15th century BC. The plants were used as herbs and the roots and leaves were eaten. Today Chrysanthemums are a common Autumn garden sight and a beautiful gift plant.
