📣 Just under two weeks until our final performance of the year: the Music Society Summer Concert!

This year we have the privilege of performing at St Michael's Church in the Bath City Centre, with sets from our beloved Choir and Orchestra, selected soloists, and the all new Jazz ensemble! 💙

Join us on Saturday the 9th April at 6.30pm for a night of music guaranteed to defy expectations ✨

📣 Our third performance health and wellbeing session is running this Thursday, you don't want to miss it!

Hosted by the amazing Elena Riu, this week's session will cater for biologically female members to help understand and take control over how your personal cycle intertwines with your creativity 🩵

For attendance, please make sure to wear easy to move in clothes for the stretches and exercises!

The session will run this Thursday the 26th from 4.30pm in Michael Tippet Centre G01, we look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible!

📣 Important Update: Choir rehearsal time changes! 📣

Due to changes in the commercial music lecture timetable, our choir rehearsals have been moved!
They will now be taking place at 5.30-7.30pm in the Michael Tippet Centre every Wednesday, beginning tomorrow evening (4th Feb) 🎶
We hope this does not interfere with timetabling too much and are happy to figure out personal alternatives if you cannot always attend 🩵

It's finally time for our annual BSU Christmas carol service at Bath Abbey! 🔔🎁
Join us on the 8th December at 7pm for performances of celebrated carol songs, dance shows, and poetry readings from across the university.
It will prove to be an unmissable night of joy, and all for free!

This session will focus on performance anxiety, providing tips and tricks such as breathing techniques and general coping strategies 💙

We introduced lots of new faces to the world of the Music Society yesterday with games, practise choir singing, and an introduction to our new gamelan pieces! Here's a glimpse of how it went...

📣 If you couldn't make it to our welcome week events, don't panic! We would still love to invite you to our opening sessions starting with Choir on the 24th September; Orchestra on the 1st October; and Gamelan on the 8th October.
No experience necessary, just a willingness to join as many rehearsals as possible and spread your love for music with us! 💙

Keep an eye out here for official times and places to be to join in! 🎶
