Braemore Space is delighted to be part of An Talla Solais’ annual Lochbroom Art Week starting Friday 4th September.

Peter White shares 3 new large scale graphite drawings which are part of a series done from prisoner identity photographs. The photographs were taken by the authorities at Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland and Lubyanka secret police headquarters in Moscow.

Often, these prisoners had almost everything taken from them: their homes, their families, their possessions, their names, their hair, their lives. In some cases, the thin photographs appear to be all that remains of a person’s existence.

Braemore space is a quiet, reflective space – the natural light holds these pieces in an intimate setting inviting inquiry and connection.

The exhibition is open to the public (10am – 4pm) from Friday 4th – Wednesday 9th September and will resume Friday 11th – Sunday 13th September.

Our purpose-built coworking office at Braemore is designed for focus, flexibility and a little more breathing room.
