Friday update! Necklaces have been heading out - I’m working on the final pieces today so am a couple of days behind anticipated completion time, but they should all be winging their way to their new homes by the middle of next week if not before! Phew…. Have a great weekend folks!

A slight ‘hiccup’ on my part with the first batch of these guys… I forgot to take out one of the cut sections that I had decided against using, and ended up making them with the wrong hats. D’OH! The only difference is a little cut-out shape I trialled in the red glitter, so this *very* small batch will be available tonight from 8pm GMT. Pre-orders are well underway and I’m hoping to have time to make some more green grouches without the ‘hat gap’ once all pre-orders are shipped, so don’t panic if you miss these guys!

Postage update!

Unfortunately, with costs rising across the board, I am having to update international shipping rates and change my free shipping threshold which until now has been comparatively low. I hate having to do this, but have held off for as long as I reasonably can and sadly the ever-increasing costs of running a small business dictate that this has to be the way forward. Hopefully my wonderful customers will understand and continue to buy and enjoy my little creations. Thank you for all your support so far - and I look forward to bringing lots of pretties your way in future!

Argh! Sorry, everyone - lost another couple of days thanks to Greenwich Mean Time, various appointments and horrible Storm Ciaran with it’s dark clouds and rain - no good for product photos! I’m still catching up on a few special orders, so I’ll check material stock and work out pre-order details this weekend rather than try and rush it this evening - and should have details for you in the next couple of days! Elvis has been to Graceland! Absolutely LOVE these photos from one of my fabulous customers! He’s been to some amazing places by the sounds of things - including Salem and Boston which are both on my bucket list 😍 Lucky fella! It’s always lovely to see customer photos - keep ‘em coming!

Phew! Halloween pre-orders are starting to head out - not too much behind schedule, thankfully, but still a little later than planned! Keep an eye on those emails - there will be lots more orders heading out early next week. In the meantime have a great weekend!

Update time! Wow - it’s been crazy hot here in the U.K. for over a week now, with temperatures in the low to mid thirties every day - which apparently means various U.K. weather records have been broken 🥵 Nights have been ‘interesting’, as there hasn’t been any significant cooling-down, so everything is just hot and horrible making it very difficult to sleep (I’ve had to resort to the dog cooling-mat in bed trick again!) My little office/studio room has felt like a sauna (opening the windows only serves to let the soupy-hot air in) so instead I’ve had to take my sketch pad outside in a shady spot to sketch up some new designs…. The colours are a bit of a giveaway! Tomorrow is looking a bit cooler so I should be able to get the laser fired back up and cut the rest of the Halloween pieces which will then be on their way as soon as it’s cool enough to put them together! Have a great week everyone! (P.S - excuse the paint-splattered nails…. Another arty project underway!)

Hello, Gourd-geous! Well, Summer has reappeared in the U.K. this week, and rendered my workspace somewhat toasty, so I’ve been trying to catch-up on some outdoor jobs instead 🥵 I’m not sure which is worse! Anyhoo… Here’s a reminder for us Autumn-lovers that it is fast approaching with its haul of pumpkins and gorgeous flaming colours! I couldn’t let it pass without making a suitable necklace so this one will be available on a limited pre-order alongside my stained-glass-style Halloween brooches at 1300hrs BST 1st September! Hi everyone! I’ve been a bit quiet lately as I’ve had rather a bad back. I’ve found that keeping moving has been better than sitting still, so I’ve not been getting much made! I’ve been out on a few walks though, finding lovely butterflies in what has been a changeable summer here in the U.K. and am starting to feel a bit better. Today I have been sourcing some necklace boxes (I hadn’t actually considered the packaging side of necklaces!) so watch this space for new and exciting things! Anyone waiting for special pieces, apologies for the delay - I haven’t forgotten you and will be in touch as soon as they’re ready which shouldn’t be long now. Have a great week all!

Good morning all! Up bright and early to take the Mister to the train station and now home and sitting in the garden with a coffee listening to the birds sing. I’m making good progress with pre-orders of the ‘boyband hero’ so all is going to plan! I mentioned I’d made my first necklace last week - it was a special request and sounded like it could be a fun challenge! Here’s the final result - with all its teeny tiny pieces (and of course it needed a matching brooch!) So it turns out I CAN make necklaces! Who knew?! A whole new world awaits… Have a great day folks!

Thank you all so much for your orders over the last couple of days! As always you are THE BEST! Some of the pre-made pieces have headed out this morning,so I’ll be starting on pre-order pieces next week. It’s been a very hot and dry couple of weeks here in the U.K. (something we are not really geared towards as you probably know by now 🤣😂) so it can make lasercutting a little tricky as I like to keep the room as cool as possible, and today it’s akin to a sauna 🥵 Hopefully the weather will break a little on Sunday and clear the air, but I’ll keep you posted as always if there are any delays. I haven’t got anything new I can show you at the moment (although I have just made my first statement necklace which is quite exciting) so instead here is a photo of the wonderful poppies in my garden this year. They have been so gorgeous - particularly in the mornings with the sun filtering through them! Hope you all have a great weekend - I’m off to visit the King tomorrow for the Trooping of the Colour!
