Centre Dance Academy

Centre Dance Academy We are a dance school based in Whitton TW2 since 1984 and now in Hampton TW12 as well. We also teach adults.

We teach children from age 3 in ballet, modern, jazz, tap acro commercial and contemporary. Dance examinations are held regularly throughout the year, with all dancers encouraged to participate. All grades are undertaken from Pre-Primary to Advanced and Vocational levels, including all medal levels. Besides examinations all our dancers are invited to perform in the Biennial show which is an exciti

ng and much looked after event in our dancing calendar. We also enter our dancers into regional and national festivals on a yearly basis. Some of our past students have gone on to perform in the West End, Touring companies and International shows. Others have or are currently training at vocational schools: Performers College, Urdang Academy, Northern School of Contemporary Dance, Italia Conti, Laine Theatre Arts, Bird College and Arts Educational. Our students have also been accepted on numerous occasions for the London Children's Ballet.

We are happy to welcome Luke Buckley to our teaching faculty!

Luke is a versatile professional dancer, choreographer and teacher, trained at the prestigious Rambert School of Ballet and Contemporary Dance. His professional experience includes working with Akram Khan Company, BalletBoyz, Netflix productions and a variety of stage, film and commercial projects.

Trained across Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Commercial, Street and Hip Hop, Luke brings a wonderfully diverse perspective to his teaching. He is passionate about inspiring young dancers, building confidence and encouraging individuality and creativity — and we’re so excited for our students to work with him!
