Very glad I threw some poppy seeds around last year. They’re currently carrying the entire garden while the rest looks like a demolition site.
It’s all for something very exciting… stay tuned.

Sometimes it’s worth zooming in… As always I have no clue of the glaze combo I used. This bowl has been fired twice already. I’m still unhappy with how the outside looks so one more firing still coming up.

My studio build has paused most of my making lately, so the kiln’s been having a long rest too.

Finally getting back into it and found this pot waiting for me… with absolutely no notes about the oxides I used as usual!

Now I have no idea how to glaze it, which feels slightly dangerous because I already really love it as it is. Hoping I don’t ruin it now…

For years, our home has been a hub for friends and family gatherings. I make my pieces to be used and enjoyed every day, creating little moments of connection over food and drink.

Her background in teaching, combined with her own experience of loss, inspired her to create The Marfleet Foundation, which provides schools with training, guidance, and resources to support bereaved children.

Huge thanks to one of us for capturing these fab moments, and to a few of my favourite potters whose mugs I’m using daily and Fiona Booy Ceramics.

Last night a conversation with a friend reminded me of this little disaster.
I was so happy, throwing a big bowl on the wheel. Then I thought, I’ll drip some slip on it to make it more interesting.

The pot became too wet and collapsed.

Failures are frustrating, but they’re the lessons I remember the longest.
