Tring Choral Society's next concert will be JS Bach's 'Christmas Oratorio’ which the choir will be singing on 20th December in English at St Peter & St Paul Church, Tring, starting at 7.30pm. The choir will be accompanied by four professional soloists (Soprano Lucinda Cox, Contralto Carris Jones, Tenor Ashley Turnell, Bass William Gaunt) and its orchestra of professional and local musicians. Tickets are now on sale for Tring Choral Society's Summer Concert on 5th July. In addition to the magnificent Rutter and Vaughan Williams pieces, the choir will be singing four beautiful motets by Bruckner and renowned violinist Paul Barritt will play JS Bach's 'Chaconne in D'. On Saturday 5th April Tring Choral Society will sing Beethoven’s ‘Mass in C’ and Mozart’s ‘Dominican Vespers’. The choir will be accompanied by professional soloists and its regular orchestra comprising a mix of professional and local musicians. Please join us at St Peter & St Paul Church, Tring. Doors open at 6.45pm for a 7.30pm start. Tickets cost £17.50 and are available at tringchoral.org.uk or £20 on the door. Children 7 years and over welcome; under 18s free.
