Can’t wait for this amazing UK talent to blast the Magikana Valley! 🌄🧙‍♂️ Act One - Bom Shanka Musicis the PsyTrance project of English multi-instrumentalist and producer Jack Allsopp, now based in Scotland.

Drawing on a rich musical upbringing that included piano and trombone from an early age, Jack fused his passion for music with the UK electronic sounds that surrounded him. After teaching himself music production through Drum & Bass, he discovered PsyTrance at the age of 17 and began crafting a unique sound all of his own.

Blending influences from across the musical spectrum with innovative sound design techniques, Act One has become renowned for his fresh approach and unmistakable style. Representing the visionary sound of Bom Shanka Music, his sets quickly became a breath of fresh air on dancefloors around the world.

Only One Moon Cycle Until We Gather! 🌙✨ Waxing Crescent Moon Blessings, magikal people!

Only 29 days remain until we meet once more for a mythic and transformational Magikana experience under the Waxing Crescent Moon of July, deep in the Dragonland of Merlin. 🐉🌄🧙‍♂️

During this Waxing Crescent Moon phase, lasting around 4–5 days, the Moon appears in the western sky shortly after sunset and follows the Sun below the horizon. On the evenings of 18 and 19 June, the Waxing Crescent Moon will be seen near brilliant Venus, the Evening Star. If conditions are clear, you may also witness the beautiful glow of Earthshine on the Moon's unlit surface, that’s light reflected from our own Earth!

At Magikana 2026, we will experience the Waxing Crescent Moon after sunset each evening, graciously setting behind the Wizard’s Pyramid stage and blessing the valley with its magical presence. 🌙🌄

The Waxing Crescent Moon marks the path towards the Full Moon, a truly magikal Lunar phase guiding the transition from Dark into Light. A sacred moment within the Lunar cycle bringing consciousness, initiation and activation.

We are incredibly excited to welcome the full Grouch in Dub Live Band to Magikana 2026! 🧙‍♂️🎛️🐉

An exceptionally rare UK appearance, the band has only toured the UK once before, in 2019, and we are absolutely delighted to host them at the Dragon’s Grove stage this Summer.

The renewed international ensemble for 2026 brings together virtuoso musicians from New Zealand, Australia and France, reflecting the visionary explorations of the Bass Wizard, Grouch, into BassDub and PsyBass infused with organic live instrumentation.

The Grouch in Dub live project blends clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, guitar, percussion and vocals woven through richly textured bass-driven soundscapes, creating immersive festival experiences that are both cinematic and deeply human.

The current six-member ensemble performing at Magikana Festival 2026 includes:

The Grouch in Dub Live Band is scheduled to perform at 00:00 on Monday 21 July (perceived as Sunday night), and some members will also present a special live jam session as part of the festival opening ceremony at 12:00 on Friday 17 July at the Dragon’s Grove stage.

We are ecstatic to welcome visionary music producer Electrypnose, who will be presenting three incredible Live Sets at Magikana 2026! 🧙‍♂️🎛️🐉

Celebrating 25 years in music production, the talented Vince LeBarde from Switzerland describes his Electrypnose project as an "electric hypnosis”, and that is exactly what he elegantly delivers: deep, hypnotic and non-formula sonic journeys, constantly evolving and redefining the psychedelic sound.

Expect eight hours of his creative musical signature across the Magikana 2026 lineup, showcasing his unique, prolific, out-of-the-box and wide-ranging exploration of psy music and beyond.

On the epic Wizard’s Pyramid stage, Electrypnose will play two extended sets, including his high-energy Night Psy sound (3-hour set), alongside a special PsyProg / BushProg journey (3-hour set) for the legendary Prog afternoons and sunsets of Magikana.

He will also perform a special 2-hour set at the Dragon’s Grove stage, exploring the deeper realms of his latest sonic adventures through hypnotic and psy infused BassTech / BushTech.

We are deeply honoured to have him joining us for Magikana 2026.
