Unfortunately we still have a long way to go to achieve equality and acceptance in our society.

I hope one day we can all be our true authentic selves without being judged and discriminated against.

Today is International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Lesbophobia and Transphobia.

This statement below is from the Charity "Mind", unfortunately it's a ongoing problem and we need it to stop.

"Being LGBTQIA+ is not a mental health problem.
And it does not cause mental health problems.
But discrimination does.

We all have a responsibility to stand against it.

You should never be treated differently for who you are, how you identify, or who you love".

Many Thanks to all who came to DISCO DELIGHT yesterday.. it was a great afternoon attended by the great and good from Calder Valley! We danced to disco, northern soul, the Arctic Monkeys, 80s bands galore and some drum and bass to finish! DJO had a wad of requests to get thru and played almost all.. so big thanks for your attendance and participation in making it a memorable Saturday afternoon!
