We have with regret had to cancel the Summer Cream Tea with Live Music here at The Ship Inn Country Hotel, Ashford Hill RG19 8BD due to unforeseen circumstances.

Hello everyone,
We have changed the time of our Summer Cream Tea with Live Music on Sunday 16th August 2026. It will now be 3pm - 5pm.
So hope we will see you there, it is always so special. Doors open at 2.30pm.
Freshly made scones, clotted cream and homemade strawberry jam. We have china cups and saucers and plates. The urn will be on the go. Keyboard Music will be playing in the background while you chat and eat.

There will be a small raffle of special prizes, so please bring some cash with you.

A lovely time to bring family/friends.

Dearest everyone,
Thank you to all who came along to our Spring Creations event on Sunday and had a fun time decorating terracotta pots!! you were all so artistic!! it was so lovely to have you all. Thank you to Roger Williams playing old time favourites on his keyboard, to Rachel and Alison playing flute duets and also Scott Houghton playing to us on the piano. The homemade bakes were delicious!! Thank you Jane for bringing the beautiful baskets, eggs and little Easter chicks. Thank you to Georgi and John for preparing the tables before we came and providing the hot and cold drinks.

Don't forget to varnish your pots after Tuesday this week. I expect the plants might like a water too now.

Our next event is on Sunday 16th August Summer Cream Tea with Live Music. Tickets will be £15, and we will probably have a raffle too. We will be putting this event on Eventbrite soon.

Hello everyone,

Just to let you know that tickets are now selling for our Spring Creations event on Sunday 8th March here at The Ship Inn Country Hotel, Ashford Hill RG19 8BD - 2 - 4pm. We have 6 adult tickets and 5 children tickets left to sell on Eventbrite. We can't guarantee tickets will be available on the door on the day.

We will be decorating Terracotta pots and then planting them up. Music will be performed for us by local performers in the background. Homebakes, hot and cold beverages all in the ticket price. Come and join in the fun!

Tickets adults £12 and children £6 from Eventbrite.

Hello everyone,
So looking forward to this Spring craft event here at Shipinnarts (The Ship Inn Country Hotel, Ashford Hill RG19 8BD). "Spring Creations" Sunday 8th March 2 - 4pm. Tickets are £12 from Eventbrite.
Decorating flower pots and filling them. Music playing in the background while you craft. Homemade bakes and hot and cold beverages all in ticket price.
Just to let you know that Children of 5 years and up are welcome to take part in this event at half-price £6. Just bring cash on the door on the day, as we can't get two ticket prices on Eventbrite. If a parent has to bring a child younger than 5 then they will be free.

Happy New Year 2026 everyone!
So hope you had a lovely Christmas too.

Just to let you know that our next event "Spring Creations and Music" on Sunday 8th March 2pm - 4pm is now on Eventbrite and you can purchase tickets. Tickets are £12.

Come and join us with a fun start to Spring! we are decorating a flower pot and then potting it up! While you craft, music will be playing in the background. Included in the ticket price are crumpets, homemade scones and homebakes, hot and cold drinks.
