Sorry, folks, but Friday 25 May's comedy night has been cancelled. There'll be more diary dates from Laughing Stock later this year, however, with a move back to TAVISTOCK, where our stand up comedy nights began. We are looking forward to a return to the TAVY CLUB, with great-value tickets )(which will leave you plenty of change for the venue's delicious bar food and liquid refreshment...) and we'll be welcoming more of the excellent comedy talent we've been introducing to Tavistock and Horrabridge since 2010. Thanks for all your support to make this the best comedy night for miles around. See you soon!

Comedy and Curry- FRIDAY 24 MAY!! On the menu this month: Welcome back to the brilliant Mr Alan Francis, who'll be headlining a line-up also comprising: the fantastic Iszi Lawrence, who's also utterly fab and has gone down a storm at the Salmon before; Chris Purchase will be our MC and we'll be introducing two fresh new faces on the stand up comedy scene. Johnny Awsum is set to headline at West Devon comedy and curry night Laughing Stock at the Salmon on Friday October 19. With his likeable style and trusty guitar, Jonny’s musings include everything from the white lies he tells his girlfriend to his new home town of Croydon and the memory of his first love at eight years old.
Comfortable with any type of gig, Jonny’s feel-good set has captivated audiences at every kind of venue from pub back rooms to 700 seat theatres to a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Fringe with his hit show 'Playtime'.
Jonny has played all the UK's top comedy venues including The Glee Club, Jongleurs and The Comedy Store and has performed internationally from Cyprus to Slovakia, Austria to Hungary. Along the way he has won The Magners Funhouse Comedy Gongshow and The Comedy Cafe New Acts Night.

Laughing Stock is also set to welcome Jim Campbell, who has written for Russell Howard's Good News and ESPN's Talk of the Terrace: “An exciting new talent.” Time Out.

Compering will be Jonny Freeman, who’s featured on hit BBC kids' show 'MI High' where he plays team-leader Frank London and he also as a panellist on Channel 5's 'The Wright Stuff'.

Laughing Stock will also welcome new talent Isaac Lee and Chris Chopping.
