Set a date in your 2027 diary!

September 4th & 5th 2027, BeyondSTEAM will return to STEAM Museum in Swindon.

For 2027 our exhibition will expand to include the Hawksworth and Great Western Halls. What does this mean for you? More! More great layouts, trade, manufacturers and demonstrators.

The Cavalex Class 47 project has been progressing well over the past few months as we near the production stage of the process.

We will shortly be commencing production, which will mean the order book will be closing in the coming weeks. As a result we would recommend contacting your Cavalex stockist to pre-order our next locomotive.

Our thanks to Richard Bentley and The Watercress Line for their help recently with access to 47579. A full update on the project will be provided soon.

Congratulations to Devon Model Railways for winning Best in Show at BeyondSTEAM 2026 with Ditcheat Junction.

The best in show voting was incredibly tight with the top five layouts all being within a few votes of each other.

Thank you to everyone who took time to vote and congratulations to every layout at the show, you did our hobby proud!
