This week at Hippos brings you a fun filled weekend!

Friday the 13th (dun dun duhhhhhhhhhhh!!! 👻)

A horror and gothic fayre! Opens 12 midday -4.30pm
Just look at the list of all sorts of alternative, horror, and gothic goodies available to browse and treat yourself to! And if that’s not fun enough, fancy a tarot reading?! Hippos has you covered!

Pulling a double shift that day, Friday NIGHT, from 8pm doors, Deck Devils are spinning tracks to get those body’s moving all night long! With an insane line up, and only £5 admission… this is definitely going to be bouncing!

Saturday 15th brings you another club night, drum and bass! With rumble sounds bringing the rumble back to the jungle!

And to finish the weekend off, chilled and relaxed, hippos brings you their regular open mic night! From 4pm onwards. Whether you’re on a date, with mates, want to have a sing along yourself, take a walk upto the thriving high street and help support your local venues!

Saturday 14th, sin brings you Forever Nu!
Which I couldn’t possibly explain better than the venue themselves!

“Forever NU!! A new annual touring festival bringing you the best of 90’s/00’s metal! The Europe’s leading tribute to System of a Down, Chop Suey (feat members of Dragonforce, Anti-Nowhere League & Breed 77) and tribute to Korn - Korn Again will be co-headlining this amazing tour ,bringing a no-holds-barred nu metal extravaganza, celebrating those classic songs of the early 00s that defined a generation. Both acts have just come off the back of tireless and multiple European tours and festival appearances and excited to get back on the road.

Joining them will be AudioRage, Disturbed UK and Deftones UK who will be churning out even more classic alternative bangers from Rage Against The Machine, Disturbed and Deftones respectively.
