Hello everyone 💖 It’s a long one, but please stay with me!
Unfortunately, we’ve been having an increasing number of situations where other companies are cancelling parties at the last minute, leaving us to step in and try to make sure these little ones don’t miss out.

To some, it might be “just a party” or “just a job” — but we all know it’s so much more than that. 💖

We’re creating magical memories for children. It’s not fair on them. It’s not fair on the parents, some of whom I’ve had crying down the phone, and it’s not fair on my team, having to work twice as hard at the last minute to try and fix something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

So, when you’re researching who to book, here are a few things to look out for:

✨ Are they local or nationwide?
Nationwide companies are the worst for last-minute cancellations as they don’t have a dedicated team of performers in your area.

✨ How much are they charging?
If a company is cheaper than most others, there may be a reason.

✨ Check reviews on Facebook and Google to see what customers experience has been with them. If reviews are switched off I would question why.

✨ Are they using photos of their actual performers in costume?
If they are, have a look at the quality of the costumes, wigs and overall presentation. Professional entertainers invest in the details because they care about the experience they’re providing. Also look for genuine photos and videos from real parties rather than just promotional images. This can give you a much better idea of what you’re actually booking.

✨ How long have they been running?
Not all new companies are bad, but many start this business thinking it’ll be easy work then quickly realise it’s not!

We just want parents to know what to look out for, because when a company cancels at the last minute, it’s the child and their family who are left dealing with the disappointment.
