This alternative method makes your crochet life infinitely easier and gives you a perfectly closed center every time. No more struggling with tight stitches or the gap stubbornly refusing to disappear.

1. Chain 4.
2. Work all your stitches for the first round INTO THE FIRST CHAIN YOU MADE. Think of that first chain as your loop.
