WOW 🤩 What an amazing showcase we had this afternoon, filling 17Nineteen with our river rhymes, sea songs and oceans and joy! 🌊 HUGE well done and thank you to all of our singers and everyone who has supported Out Loud Voices up to this point. 🙌 In the words of one of our amazing singers and volunteers:

“Come and join us together in song, because everyone can sing and everyone belongs!”

Monday 27/04 Box Project (adults 13:00-14:30)
Wednesday 29/04 (youth 17:30-19:00. Adults 19:00-20:30)

Our final Wednesday night rehearsal before our Showcase THIS SUNDAY!
Our youth choir warmed up by testing out the mic this evening and both thee Community and Youth choir took to the ‘stage’ in preparation!
We can’t wait to sing for you all soon! 🌊

One week to go! ✨
This time next Sunday we will be preparing for our concert ‘Let the River Run’. Our Wednesday youth & community choir (pictured) have been working so hard and have made brilliant progress! We are so excited to showcase it to you all!

Creativity is flowing (like a river) in our singing sessions this term, and we can’t wait to share what we’ve been up to at our showcase on Sunday 29th March at 5pm.

🎨 Our Youth Choir have been making posters (and singing at the same time)
🌊 It’s great to see everyone’s personalised music books!
🎶 We wrote a song! The EPIC young singers wrote the words and music as well as making up actions. Make sure you’re at the showcase to hear its first ever performance.

We’re back at The Box Youth & Community Project today. 13:00-14:30, every voice welcome 🌟

January is that month where your bank account is tired, the weather is rude, and motivation has fully gone into hibernation.

Good news though, singing helps. Like, actually helps!

The community singing group is a no pressure, no auditions, come as you are space to breathe deeper, laugh louder, and boost your mental health one song at a time. Science says singing reduces stress and lifts mood, we say it also just feels really good.

If January’s been a bit much (same), come sing it out with us. You don’t need to be “good,” you just need to show up. 🎶

New voices always welcome, message us or drop by and see what it’s all about.
