“If I was to describe the word unity, this would be it” - Youth Choir Member July 2026

We couldn’t of summed this up any better, not only did we bring Hollywood to Hendon but we also brought community, joy, creativity and some seriously good music making 🙌

We’re having a break now till September but in the meantime you can spread the word, keep an eye on our socials for concert videos AND keep singing!! We’d love to hear what you get up to over the summer and what songs your singing.

WOW! What an incredible night we had last night at our summer showcase where Out Loud Voices presented: A Night at the Movies 🍿

A huge thank you and well done to everyone involved. We would LOVE to see all your photos and videos, and hear what your favourite moment was from the showcase… 📸 🧡

I’ll go first: singing The Circle of Life in a circle as the concert opener was pretty epic!! 🦁

We are THIS excited for our showcase on Sunday, where Out Loud Voices presents: A NIGHT AT THE MOVIES 🎥

Bringing together 5 choirs including voices from all around Sunderland and the North East as well as our own film and a bucket full of fun 🍿

Sunday 5th July. 17:00 start. 17Nineteen

📣 Coming soon to a screen () near you… 📣

We can’t wait to share our next showcase with you! This term so far we have learnt different songs from movies, started filming our own mini movie, and thought about lots of different props, costumes and staging. How exciting!

It is not too late to get involved, simple drop us a message and pop along to a rehearsal.

The showcase is on Sunday 5th July, 5pm at the wonderful 17Nineteen.

WOW 🤩 What an amazing showcase we had this afternoon, filling 17Nineteen with our river rhymes, sea songs and oceans and joy! 🌊 HUGE well done and thank you to all of our singers and everyone who has supported Out Loud Voices up to this point. 🙌 In the words of one of our amazing singers and volunteers:

“Come and join us together in song, because everyone can sing and everyone belongs!”
