What a difference a little wallpaper can make!

Take a look at this boot room we’ve just completed using this beautiful Sanderson wallpaper.

What was once quite a cold, stark-looking room has been completely transformed.

It’s amazing how introducing a little colour and pattern can bring so much warmth, character and life into a space.

Sometimes you don’t need to change everything to make a big difference!

What do you think of the transformation? Would you have wallpaper in your boot room? 👇

What’s the first thing we do before any decorating starts? Make sure everything is properly protected!

If you’ve been following us for a while, you’ll know how seriously we take protecting our customers’ homes.

Today I’m using the Q1 Top PROBOARD for the first time.

You’ll have seen us using the wider PROBOARD to protect hard floors on our jobs, but this narrower version is ideal for protecting kitchen worktops.

Another great product to add to our protection kit!

For us, protecting your home is just as important as the decorating itself. It’s something we’ve always taken pride in and something we’ll never cut corners on.

Out of interest, when having work done in your home, how important is it to you that everything is properly protected before the job starts? 👇

Wallpaper on the ceiling… would you?

Another recent project where we’ve carried the wallpaper from the feature wall straight onto the ceiling, creating one continuous design.

It’s a trend I’ve noticed becoming more and more popular throughout 2026, and I can see why. It really does make a statement and adds something a little different to a room.

What do you think? Would you be brave enough to follow this trend, or would you rather keep wallpaper on the walls?

I’d love to hear your thoughts! 👇

WHO LOVES A CHALLENGE? I DO!

Here’s something a little different!

A 5 metre high chimney breast where I’m applying this stunning Omexco wallpaper.

Now, this isn’t your everyday wallpaper. It’s quite thick and takes a lot of care and patience to work with, especially at this height!

But if every job was easy, where would the fun be?

It’s projects like this that I really enjoy. A little bit of a challenge, plenty of planning and attention to detail to make sure the finished result is just right.

I’ll hopefully share a few reels at a later date showing some of the work involved in bringing this one together.

I can’t wait to see the room once the customer has it all dressed and furnished. I think it’s going to look absolutely stunning!

WE DON’T JUST COVER THINGS… WE GO FULL PROTECTION MODE.

Large open-plan kitchen, dining and lounge area — and before a brush comes out, everything gets protected.
Q1 Coverall everywhere.

It might look extreme… but when it’s someone else’s home, there’s no such thing as over-protecting.

Preparation isn’t just about the walls.
Respect the property. Protect everything. Then get to work.

Would you call this overkill… or just professional?

WHAT A DIFFERENCE WALLPAPER MAKES

This large lounge has been completely transformed using two different textured wallpapers.

Using two textures within the same room adds another dimension, creating interest and character while still tying the whole space together beautifully.
Wallpaper can completely change the feel of a room — adding warmth, depth and texture that you just don’t always get from paint alone.

One room. Two textures. A complete transformation.

SAFE IS BORING… SOMETIMES YOU’VE GOT TO BE DIFFERENT!

We love it when a customer is willing to be a little adventurous and choose something a bit different from the norm.

Of course, bold ideas still need sharp, professional finishes — and that’s where using the right materials makes all the difference.

For this one, Q1 tapes helped us create those crisp, clean lines exactly where they count.

A brave choice + the right products + attention to detail = a finish that stands out.

Would you be brave enough to try something different in your home?
