The casks are being ordered, the smoker is getting ready, the outside bar is being stocked and next weekend we do it all over again! 🍻

Join us for three days of great b**r, great food and fantastic live music at the Hare & Hounds B**r Festival.

🍺 12 Real Ales pouring throughout the weekend.

🎶 LIVE MUSIC
Friday 7:30pm – Tequila Mockingbird kick the weekend off with a great mix of rock, pop & indie covers.

Saturday
🎧 Jonny Drop spins nothing but vinyl from 3:30pm–6:30pm, bringing funk, soul, disco and feel-good classics.
🎸 Then from 7:30pm, The Onion Band take over to keep the party going into the evening.

Sunday 2:30pm
🎤 The brilliant Blueprint return to round off the weekend with another afternoon of live music.

🔥 FOOD
Friday lunchtime we'll have our homemade filled baps and sausage rolls available, with the pub kitchen open as normal from 6–9pm.

On Saturday & Sunday we'll be firing up the BBQ all day, with Will's smoker working hard alongside freshly cooked burgers, hot dogs and plenty of smoky BBQ favourites.

As if our Country & Western Weekend wasn't packed enough already...

We're finishing Saturday's live music in time to switch gears and show the football on our 12ft-wide big screen in the marquee!

If you've never watched a match on a screen this size, you're in for a treat. Plenty of space, great sound, cold drinks flowing from the garden bar, and our American BBQ served throughout the afternoon and evening.

So whether you're coming for the country music, the line dancing, the smoked BBQ, or just the football, we've got you covered.

Well... we weren't planning on slowing down after Summer Solstice. 🤠

On 11th & 12th July, the Hare & Hounds garden is heading stateside for our first ever Country & Western Weekend

Expect live music all weekend, free line dancing tuition from Beau Studios, authentic American BBQ, Chicken S**t Bingo, a mechanical rodeo bull, cold b**r, cocktails and enough western décor to make you think you've wandered into Texas.

With Smoketree Union, Illegal Oysters, Wh***ey Stour, Box River Junction and The Joe Keeley Band all joining us, we're pulling out all the stops to transform the garden into a full-blown western frontier.

Dust off your boots, grab your hats and saddle up.

🎧 SUMMER SOLSTICE DJ ANNOUNCEMENT #7 – DARCYB 🎧

🔥 OUR DJ COMPETITION WINNER 🔥

Back in March, we launched the very first Hare & Sounds DJ Competition to discover new talent and give someone the opportunity to play on the Summer Solstice stage.

After two fiercely contested rounds, one DJ stood out from the crowd…

🥇 DARCYB 🥇

DarcyB is a fresh face on the scene, but her story started on the other side of the booth. After years spent on dancefloors, living for the music and feeding off the energy of the crowd, she’s now stepping behind the decks to create those moments herself.

Drawn to house classics alongside fresh underground sounds, DarcyB is carving out a style that’s packed with feel-good energy, familiar favourites you may have forgotten about, and the kind of tunes that make people smile when they hear them.

New to DJing? Maybe.

New to dance music culture? Absolutely not.

Her connection to the crowd was clear throughout the competition and ultimately earned her the judges’ vote and a place on tomorrow’s line-up.

We’re incredibly proud to have given a platform to emerging talent and even more excited to see DarcyB make her Summer Solstice debut.

And with that…
