Following our post yesterday evening about progressing with the festival as a whole with the exception of the Ceilidh, the committee have now decided on balance to cancel the Ceilidh on Sunday evening.

For those of you who have bought tickets, apologies, we hope you understand. We will be in touch over the next 48hrs to arrange reimbursing you.

After taking time to consult stakeholders the committee have taken the decision that we should proceed with the festival programme in full.

The only caveat to this decision is that we are still discussing whether holding a Ceilidh on Sunday evening is still appropriate. We will make a decision as quickly possible and let you all know what we have decided. Please bear with us.

So Ceilidh aside, the festival will proceed as scheduled! Thank you for your patience and we look forward to seeing you at one of our events in the coming week.

In the light of the sad news of the Queen's death, the committee are in the process of consulting stakeholders about whether or not to proceed with this year’s festival.
We aim to make a decision very quickly and will communicate our decision as soon as we are able.
