Had this super rare beast taking up my bench (literally!) the last few weeks. An Early 1900s Rampone & cazzani Bass Saxophone. A huge challenge I'm not going to lie, broken keys, leaking soldered on tone holes to name but a few. Worth all the time and effort when you get the best feedback from the loveliest of customers. There's an art to rebuilding these but defiantly an art to blowing them too!

For anyone who would like to attend, dad's funeral will be held at 11:30 on Wednesday 7th February at Wyre Forest Crematorium.

It is with great sadness I have to let you all know that dad sadly passed away peacefully earlier this week.

We've had some lovely messages of condolences as word has spread and are very proud of the high regard in which dad was held. Repairing was his passion and he met so many lovely friends along the way.
We will pass on the details of the funeral as we know them for anyone who wishes to pay their respects.

We'd also like to say a huge thank you to all the support we have had over the course of dad's illness and in keeping the repair business going through that very difficult period. We don't plan any changes and will be carrying on his legacy in due course.

**Christmas opening**

As silly season is upon us so I'm m trying to get organised early!

Last intakes:
Servicing - 15th December
Other repairs - 20th
Last collections 22nd December

Shutdown is from 23rd December to 8th January, no routine repairs in this time. I will try to accommodate any emergencies so please contact me via phone if needed.

Back on flutes this morning after what seems like weeks of Saxophones, spoilt as always with some real beauties from old and new.
