Just finished burning this little sunflower sketch 🌻🔥

Picked up some unusual wood slices yesterday. The guy I bought them from wasn’t sure what the wood was — he thought maybe Hawthorn or Birch, but honestly I’m not convinced. It was definitely a tough burn, the grain fought me the whole way!

Still, I’m really happy with how this one turned out. The natural shape of the wood worked nicely with the sunflower.

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, dislocating my right knee and tearing my meniscus limited what I could do.

But despite injuries I still has a very busy December making over 100 personalised coasters, keyrings and bottle openers for Christmas Presents.
