Visual Description: A 48 sec reel that starts with a logo of Sheffield DocFest 2026 - its black typing in a green circle. Images of the Explorers on the way to Sheffield in the car, warming up in a conference room, rehearsing at the Winter Garden - a giant green house with lovely wooden beams and tropical trees and flowers - a perfect place for our Explorers in Training to perform! It shows the performers in costume and us being held up by cows crossing the road on the way home. Bright and sunny day.

Introducing Our New Staff Members!

As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, we hosted a free online screening of Kayleigh Price’s powerful short film ‘What? Me, Worry?’

We were blown away by the brilliant turnout and it was wonderful to share the work with so many people from across our community and beyond.

Audiences described the film as:

✨ “Insightful, powerful and touching”
✨ “Intensely thought provoking”
✨ “Upfront, powerful, compelling”
✨ “Intense, authentic, truthful”
✨ “Moving, haunting, evocative”

Offering the online screening for free was incredibly important to us - helping remove financial barriers and ensuring more people could access the work and the conversations it sparks around mental health.

Audience feedback highlighted just how vital accessible art like this can be:

💬 “It shows people that they are not alone.”
💬 “It will create understanding, empathy and conversation.”
💬 “Removing barriers such as cost limits access. It’s a high-quality artwork that should be seen by as many people as possible.”
💬 “By conveying mental health through performance arts it helps to break stigma.”

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and shared their reflections.

Keep an eye out for upcoming online events from FRONTLINEdance - we have some VERY exciting things planned 👀
