New artwork in Longton has begun!
Artists Rob Fenton, Le Pรจche Art, ETHN LEMO ART & Alastair Barnett are collaborating on the latest and largest mural in town!

This week, local mural artist ๐ฅ๐ผ๐ฏ ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ผ๐ป officially started work on what will become a ๐ญ๐ฒ๐ด๐บยฒ ๐บ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐น ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐น๐ฒ๐ฏ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐๐ผ๐ป๐ด๐๐ผ๐ป'๐ ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐๐, ๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ฒ๐ป๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ณ๐๐๐๐ฟ๐ฒ.
Born and bred in Longton, Rob has poured his heart into this project. He hasn't just picked a few local landmarks and called it a day โ he's carried out extensive research and, most importantly, taken inspiration from you. Many of the ideas that will feature came directly from the community after we asked people in Longton what they'd like to see included.
I've already had a sneak peek of the design, and I genuinely think you're going to love it. It's a fantastic tribute to our town, celebrating where we've come from, what makes Longton special today, and looking ahead to its future.
Rob won't be tackling it alone either, with other talented mural artists joining him over the coming weeks. The project is expected to take around 8 weeks, so you'll be able to watch it come to life a little more each day.
And finally... with this weather ๐๐ฅต, if you happen to be passing and see Rob working, I'm sure he wouldn't say no to a cold drink or an ice lolly to help him survive painting a giant wall in the middle of a heatwave! ๐ฆ๐ฅค
