At Castle Green Art we promote a shift from conceptual knowledge, the way the world is presented to us through experiences to those of abstracts, thinking, experimenting, ideas beyond simple recognition. It all sounds a little heavy, but the simple truth is, you don’t find yourself by painting from other people’s photographs. That will only lead to travelling in circles. Break away from what you know to what you don’t. I’m speaking from 62 years experience and still open to new ideas.
