I need to apologise - I abandoned my art this year.
This year has been awful for my heart and my art so far.
I lost my dad over Christmas and the new year.
I lost Rocky, my world and the inspiration for the name Rocky Doodle Doo, less than 2 months later.
My art area (the dining table) has remained as it was when dad passed, and I couldn't put what I'd been working on while he was in hospital aside to let me work on anything else. It was kind of blocking me. Physically, emotionally and mentally.
Tonight I did it.
Tonight the unfinished canvas was moved, and I made space for my postcards again. My nice, easy, done-in-one art.
I've only done 1, but I have started. I broke the barrier and may even start trying to sell again.
I think I'll call this one "back to basics". ❤️🩹
Ive deactivated my etsy, but I'm going to look at a more sustainable way to sell. Meanwhile, I'll still post what I'm doing here.
