Well that was an eventful weekend. Came away with a 3rd place after some braking issues which where locking the back end up all day. Back to the workshop and resolve some of the small problems we’ve uncovered, couple of track days. And then back out in 7 weeks ready for Mondelo Ireland. 🏎️🏁🇮🇪☘️

Good luck to everyone competing this weekend in the 1st event of the BTRDA rallycross championship. An extra Good luck to those competing in the BMW mini class as well as our friends at Hawkesfire Rx competing in the super national class in their Vauxhall Vx220. Been a lot of work to get the car and the team ready for this event but we’ve done it and are ready too race. See you all there. 🏎️🏁

After some careful thought we decided to keep the full new build until next season. However we have still been cracking on in the meantime rebuilding last seasons car with some new parts. Last seasons car has been stripped down to its chassis, undercoated and tidied up inside and out. We have also reinforced the strut top mounts ready for some new suspension. Not long now until some test days and the BTRDA first meet. 🏎️🏁

Well safe to say we did a number on the car over the weekend. And it definitely earned its makeshift number plate "BULLETPROOF"😂

However this car came away from the 2024 5 nations British Rallycross BMW mini Championship with a 3rd place on Saturday and a 4th place in the overall championship, and we couldn't be more proud of the car and the team at AMsports RX that made it possible.

There is small amount of work over the coming weeks to be done to get this car ready to race again.

AMsportsRx is a Rallycross team based in the North East of England

Racing a Mini Cooper S in the 5 Nations British Rallycross BMW mini class.

In 2024 at the end of the season we came away with a 4th place overall in the Championship after only participating in half of the events during these meets we came away with 1x 2nd place and 2x 3rd place trophies.

After a rough final day and almost destroying the car we decided as a team to start again and rebuild it and document our journey with our supporters.

So stay tuned for big things this year.

Due to fact we are rebuilding we have a full car worth of spaces available for sponsorship so please don't hesitate to enquire.
