We play songs by The Beautiful South and The Housemartins sometimes quite well. We take that as high praise indeed. As you can see from our pics we're not arsed about trying to look like the band and don't do the "dressing up" thing. That's fine for all the Freddies and Bongos out there just not for us. It doesn't seem right. We just play the songs as if they were ours so we're not afraid to play them fast and loose. If you want something that sounds like the CD then erm...buy the CD.

Thanks to everyone who made it to the acoustic show last night. We had a great time. It’s a tribute to the strength of the songs that they can be presented in such different ways and still work so well. Also, thanks to “the last Gary in Teesside” for the encore inspo 😉

We’re planning a handful of similar shows sprinkled across the next year or so alongside our usual smattering of full band shows too. Keep an eye out for details x
