RJL Dance Studios provides high quality dance and theatre training. We work in a friendly, encouraging environment with fully qualified teachers who are passionate about what they teach. Whether you are looking for fun classes as a hobby, or more serious training to prepare you for a career, we have the classes for you. Classes are open to males and females of all abilities and are held at Bramhal

l and Hazel Grove Recreation Centres (Life Leisure), and St. Students have the chance to perform in fantastic theatre productions as well as taking optional examinations with the following organisations: RAD - Royal Academy Of Dance, ISTD -Imperial Society Of Dance & IDTA - International Dance Teachers Association. We have a100% examination pass rate with students achieving fabulous results!

💗 Exciting News from RJL Dance Studios 💗

We are absolutely delighted to announce that Miss Evie has been appointed Vice Principal of RJL Dance Studios! ✨

Miss Evie has been part of RJL since she was a young dancer herself, before progressing into teaching and becoming such an important part of our school.

She is a graduate of PCD with a BA (Hons) in Dance Performing, Teaching and Choreography, and holds teaching qualifications with both the ISTD and RAD, including DDE qualifications in Modern and Tap and CBTS in Ballet. She now teaches across a huge range of styles and ages, from our youngest dancers right through to adults.

But more importantly, Miss Evie knows RJL inside out. She understands our dancers, our families and everything we want the school to represent. 💕

Over recent months, she has already begun taking on much more of the general day-to-day running of the school, working alongside me behind the scenes as well as teaching. In her new role as Vice Principal, she’ll continue to take on more responsibility and, on occasions when I’m not there, Miss Evie will take charge — so our dancers, parents and teachers always have someone they know and trust.

It feels incredibly special to see someone who grew up at RJL now helping to lead its next chapter. 🥰

An exciting year for RJL, welcoming new teachers, new classes, lots of new students.... and of course holding our RAD, ISTD, and IDTA exams, alongside our dance showcase in April💃🏻

✨ MEET MISS ABBIE! ✨

We’re so excited to welcome Miss Abbie to the RJL teaching team! 💫

Abbie is a graduate of Addict Dance Academy, where she gained her BA (Hons) degree in Dance Performance. Since graduating, she has gained experience teaching in both dance schools and primary schools, as well as creating and running her own dance workshops.

Abbie brings a fresh, creative and energetic approach to her teaching and loves creating classes where dancers can build confidence, develop their individual style and, most importantly, really enjoy dancing!

We’re really excited for Abbie to bring her energy, creativity and fresh choreography to RJL and can’t wait for our students to get into the studio with her!

✨ MEET MISS GEMMA! ✨

We’re so excited to welcome former RJL student Miss Gemma back to the school — this time as part of our teaching team! 💫

After leaving RJL, Gemma continued her training at Centre Pointe in Manchester before moving to London to study at Laine Theatre Arts. She went on to achieve a First-Class BA (Hons) degree in Musical Theatre and has spent the past two years performing professionally at Disneyland Paris. ✨🏰

Throughout 2026, Gemma has also been teaching at dance and theatre schools across the UK and has recently completed her final exams towards qualifying as an ISTD dance teacher.

Gemma is really looking forward to returning to where her own dance journey began and bringing her professional performance experience, energy and passion into the studio. She can’t wait to inspire our students, build their confidence and help them develop both their technique and performance skills.

We’re delighted to welcome Miss Gemma back to the RJL family and can’t wait for our students to work with her! ❤️
