​We are officially getting ready to plan our next pantomime! Oh yes we are! But before the curtains rise on that, we are on the hunt for fresh talent to join our amazing, diverse crew.

People of Staincross and Mapplewell your local community theatre group need your help, our pantomime starts today and ticket sales this year have been lower than expected. This group of people have been working tirelessly since September to bring this production together, hours of rehearsals, making costumes and building the set all done for free, to help bring live theatre at an affordable price to our villages. All proceeds from this production will go towards local charities in this area. If you’re stuck for something to do today or next weekend please show your support for them and come and watch. Amateur theatre is for everyone and we would love to see you there

​Listen up, folks! We're fixin' to officially announce that our next Rootin' Tootin' Show is hitched up and headin' toward the stage!

​Our brand-spankin' New Western-Themed Panto is saddle-sore from bein' in the works, and let me tell ya, it's gonna be the Rootinist Tootinist, Gold-Danged-Finest performance this side of Royston !

Thank you all so much for joining us at our inaugural Ceilidh Launch event last night! The energy was incredible, and we truly hope you had as much fun dancing and celebrating as we did.
​A special and enormous thank you goes out to the fantastic band and to Dave Alton for making the organisation run so seamlessly!

​This ceilidh marks the official launch of our new theatre group! We are so excited to get started. Please stay tuned here for all the latest updates on our upcoming performances and projects. We're already hoping to welcome you back to the dance floor for another Ceilidh next year!

A New Chapter Begins: Introducing STAMP!
Hear ye, hear ye! We are immensely proud and excited to unveil a magnificent new era for our community theatre group!

From the foundation built as St Johns On Stage, we have grown and now ascend as the Staincross & Mapplewell Players (STAMP)! This is more than a name change; it is a promise. A promise to continue producing the same great, high-quality shows you have come to love, while expanding our horizons to bring you even more exhilarating performances and creative ventures! The stage is set for bigger and bolder things.

To mark this momentous occasion and officially launch the STAMP legacy, we invite you to join us for our grand inaugural event: a spectacular Ceilidh!
