‘Creation’ - a form I’ve explored in stacked slate, glass and bronze takes a different dynamic in each material.

This piece is now available in mirror polished stainless steel - which invites a different level of engagement, with the viewer’s own image projected back at them. The movement of clouds and swaying grasses creates an immersive experience.

‘Creation’ in stainless steel is available at 60cm, 90cm, 120cm and 180cm in length.

'Aurora' in stacked glass.

Constructed from around sixty layers of glass, which I shape precisely before carefully stacking them to create the form.

This layered approach allows the glass to hold and diffuse the light, drawing the eye inward rather than simply reflecting the surface.

The sculpture rests on a dry stone plinth already in place in this Cotswolds garden. The smooth, translucent precision of the glass sits in quiet dialogue with the rugged texture and history of the stone beneath it.

If you're planning to explore Scotland's North Coast 500 - NC500 this summer, you may come across one of my sculptures along the way.

'Sheltered Existence' can be found at Inverewe Garden & Estate NTS on the shores of Loch Ewe in Wester Ross and was commissioned by the National Trust for Scotland.

Hand-built from reclaimed Ballachulish slate, the sculpture, which stands at over 3 metres in height, holds a sphere protected within a conical outer form, reflecting the relationship between Inverewe's shelter belt and its unique ecosystem.

The gardens are open to the public throughout the year.
