One of my favourite things about teaching mosaics is that everyone starts with the same materials but creates something completely unique. There are no right or wrong designs – just your own creativity coming to life, one tessera at a time. 🤗💜

The summer holidays are finally here! ☀️

With workshops and projects taking a little break until the new term, I finally have some time to focus on everything happening behind the scenes.

My shipping container studio is still as busy as ever! School murals are being finished ready for delivery in September, and Christmas prep for my online shop and markets is already in full swing! 🫣🎄

But this year I'm working on something completely new... 🤩

I'm creating my very first online workshop! 💜

Once it's ready, you'll be able to download it and enjoy a workshop at your own pace—pause, rewind, and rewatch whenever you like, wherever you are in the world. 🌍

I already ship craft kits worldwide every week, but I know not everyone can make it to one of my in-person workshops. Later this year, you'll be able to pair one of my kits with this brand-new online course and create with me from home! 🥰

I honestly can't wait to share it with you! 💜💜💜

This week marks the end of our summer term of after-school mosaic clubs. As we all look forward to the summer holidays, I’m taking time to enjoy these final sessions with the fantastic young people who have joined my clubs this term. They truly are wonderful and a delight to teach!

Their creativity, imagination, and enthusiasm shine through each week as they design and create their own mosaics and watching them develop their skills, confidence, and expertise in mosaic making over the course of the term has been an absolute joy.

Yesterday, Elliot completed the tile work on his beautiful Koi Carp fish and went home with a bag of grout to complete the final stage at home. His creativity and artistic talent throughout this term has been fantastic, and it has been wonderful to see his unique ideas come to life through his mosaic work.

Thanks everyone for another fantastic term!!

Bernards Heath Junior School, St Albans and St Stephen's Catholic School, and Maple School are open for autumn bookings which are already on my website. Camp School dates are due to open by the end of the week.

So excited for next week! ✨

I’m absolutely delighted to be spending the day with the amazing pupils and staff at Sylvia Young Theatre School, creating a very special commemorative mosaic in honour of their incredible founder, Sylvia Young. ❤️🖤❤️

Together we'll be transforming this 1-metre board into a lasting piece of artwork, and I can't wait to see everyone’s creativity shine.
