Convergence: a live collaboration between

Snippets, loosely exchange and response,
possibly, in corner sound recording.
Canvas draped over pipes,
convergence of many things,
everything organic, log of smells.
Input, presence, encouragement cheerleading,
posing in public space.
Bass, palette, without touching.
Together, together, separate.
Starting with your comfort,
spiralling upward or outward.
Fun, lots of silence
zone, pieces, mellow, playful, spontaneous.
How to we start? How do we finish?
Canvas loops, jam, you’re off.
Fumble, shapes I keep
conceptually or emotionally? As we come together
what emerges in gentle response. Equally entangled.
Short spells of sampling, comments, meeting
energy, in the immediate and the first time. Random looping.

Really excited and honoured to deliver a sign painting workshop in in the Whitgift Centre next week, amongst a programme of incredible artists and creative practitioners I'm truly honoured to be alongside.

Stevo and I wanted to share:

A collaboration of new works by Stephen Hennessy and Jhinuk Sarkar

In this exhibition, we examine contrasts of chaos. New work by both Stephen and Jhinuk shares black & white Illustrations of busy scenes in urban Archway, of South London, shown alongside the inky coloured dramatic monsoon season in Kolkata, West Bengal of India.

All are welcome! Link in bio for more details and opening times. I'll record an audio description once it's up.

Access:
Nearest Tube is Archway (Northern line) or Upper Holloway Overground line by public transport.

Parking is payable on roadside with accessible spaces available nearby.
