Leonardo Passeri’s Painting Entrusted to the Italian Football Federation
The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) has officially received Stadio Interiore (Inner Stadium), an original painting by Italian artist Leonardo Passeri. The work was created for Calcio Special – Sport & Inclusion, a project promoted by the Cammini Camaldolesi Umbri Association that combines football, art and social inclusion.
The painting was formally presented to the FIGC as a symbol of the values that inspire the initiative: equality, participation, respect and personal growth through sport. Through his distinctive artistic language, Passeri explores football not only as a game, but as a space of encounter, humanity and shared experience.
As reported by the FIGC, the artwork will be permanently displayed at the Federal Technical Centre of Coverciano in Florence, the historic home of Italian football and the headquarters of the Italian national teams.
The project represents a meaningful encounter between art, sport and social commitment, demonstrating how culture can help promote inclusion and create positive social impact.
