The Southsea Alternative Choir A local ragbag bunch of harmonious minstrels, singing some of the best songs ever written. We raise If you wish to book us for a gig please inbox us.

We are essentially a group of friends who share a love for music. We pride ourselves on our eclectic set lists which include some of the greatest songs of the last 5 decades. We have all played in bands prior to getting together for the choir, so when we joined forces our experience enables us to make some new but respectful arrangements of the songs we cover. ear is split between the charity work we do at Festivals, plus our Xmas tour and also we also offer private bookings for weddings, corporate functions and special occasions.

Mixed emotions tonight, we're rehearsing this evening and were going to post about selling out our second night at The Wedgewood Rooms at Christmas which we're completely over the moon about. Thank you to everyone that's joining us ❤️

We were saddened to hear of the tragic news of the passing of one of our absolute heroes Mani. Hoping we've got enough time to get a Roses song ready in time for the shows. RIP 🕊️

We were reminded just how great the summer was when we were sent some photos by the hugely talented .creative earlier this week.

As the darker evenings draw in our attention moves to our winter gigs (smooth segue eh?) and we are now down to double figures tickets available for our second show at on Sunday 21st December. Yes, only 99 tickets remain for our Britpop show!!

This will probably sell out so please go to the link in the bio for tickets to avoid disappointment.

Alternatively you could contact Charlie directly and ask for guest list. He really loves this. I suggest a phone call early Sunday morning 😃

Ok, well this is pretty out of the blue but we have had quite a lot of disappointed people get in touch about getting tickets following the sell out announcement …..

We are super excited to announce a 2nd show at the following day on Sunday 21st December !!!!
