Classes and clubs for kids and adults alike covering many aspects of art including; drawing, painting, digital art work, clothing and trainers customisation, model making and design based projects amongst many others. Classes and clubs ran by myself, an independent artist and (currently) art based school key worker with over ten years experience working with young people aged 9-18 in a range of settings from care homes to schools with a wide range of additional learning needs and challenging behaviour. I hold a Design and Visual Art BA Hons from Liverpool John Moore University and 20 years art experience too. The Aim is to encourage creativity in a light hearted and fun atmosphere where kids don’t have to worry about making a mess or trying new stuff while building social skills and making friends. Other aspects such as help with course work, art exams and home learning are available, just drop me a DM with any questions and I’ll be happy to answer them for you.

From next week our new start time kicks in. We will be on from 4.30-6.30 on both afternoon sessions.

This is to allow time to do the school run and get to the studio from Scarisbrick.

Our first Tuesday back last night was fantastic. Old faces returning along with our regulars. I'm looking forward to delivering a new more informative style session this year along side the online content I trialled over thr summer.

Today is the last day that the club is closed this summer.
Back to full schedule from Friday. I'm possibly looking at a half hour time change due to my daughter starting school so.. we'll be settling in to a new pick up routine also.
Ill keep you all informed as we go.

Apologies for the lack of posts again guys but the summer has been absolutely non stop.
Even on holiday.. finding time to do anything other than chase the little ones around is difficult.
That said.. I'm in Greece and its the Epicentre for all things mythology.
Mythology is something I've always had an interest in. Probably because im a comic book nerd and the gods have always felt like superheroes.
Some are! We've all seen Thor in action, his brother Loki causing all kinds of trouble.

So.. my challenge! Do a little digging. Find a mythological character.
Greek, Roman, Norse or something else... and make them a superhero!

Think powers, costumes and enemies!

Its been a strange week with some high profile deaths.
After the close look we had at her work a couple of weeks back it felt right to share.
The great thing about art is that it keeps the artist alive long after they're gone.

Thats why my playlist for the foreseeable is going to be Dolly Parton. All day.

Now. Back to the pool and sunloungers.
