EVERY-BODY IMPROV WORKSHOP 🦄

Lean into your own uniqueness as we enjoy a four hour session exploring using our bodies to imbue scenes with emotion and meaning.

Shake up your “go-to” charcters, build environments and shape scenes from within.

Six months in the company of these wonders! It’s flown by and they (plus three other excellent people) turned up come rain or hot, hot shine.

Their devised finale show (Journey of a Lifetime) was huge success along with many individual breakthroughs along the way. 💓

A huge thank you to say stefen not steven and Ethan Pascal Peters for co-teaching with me. Genuinely wish I could have been in their workshops (and that’s saying something given I was actually in DisneyWorld).

Once when we were little my brother and I were in a theme park (lucky kids) and we were sat on a ride waiting for it all to kick off. My brother turned to the lady next to him and, in excitement, put “paws” up and panted “I’m a dog!” It’s gone down as Oakes family code for us as “this is gonna be awesome”. That’s my Monday take on improv.
Here I am as Reg the Bulldog puppy with one of my brothers from another mother as Mick The Grass in 🌊
