Once when we were little my brother and I were in a theme park (lucky kids) and we were sat on a ride waiting for it all to kick off. My brother turned to the lady next to him and, in excitement, put “paws” up and panted “I’m a dog!” It’s gone down as Oakes family code for us as “this is gonna be awesome”. That’s my Monday take on improv.

Wow! What a week!

Two gorgeous days getting ready for sharing, wheels moving in and , a trip to Cologne to collaborate with the This Is My Musical team where I saw the most beautiful cathedral (shapes, shapes, shapes!) culminating in an incredible experience on Saturday. The suggestion was “a trucker looking for love on the road” and it was pure flow state. Travelog movement joy 🤩

Well, that’s fed my addiction to improv & theatre again. Should keep me going for a while…

Friends! It’s done! The was a massive success and we had fantastic audiences join us. If you can spare a donation for today ahead of our fundraiser closing Friday I would be so grateful.

The cast really pushed themselves this year. It was a great one.

Next year take over! Wahoo! Let’s go Southend Thon chapter 3. It just gets better and better.
