We also want to take a moment to say a massive THANK YOU to every single person who came out to support us over the Bank Holiday weekend. ❤️

Unfortunately, the weather had other plans, and because of the strong winds, we had to cut the event short. This was an incredibly difficult decision for us to make, but the safety of our visitors, staff, performers and everyone involved will always come first.

We hope to see you all somewhere fun soon. 💜

💔 THIS ONE REALLY HURTS… 💔

Yesterday, we battled the rain. 🌧️
Today, we’ve battled the wind. 💨

And sadly, the weather has finally beaten us.

We have made the heartbreaking decision to CLOSE EARLY TODAY and, with the wind forecast to continue tomorrow, we have no choice but to CANCEL TOMORROW’S EVENT. 😢

💔 We are absolutely devastated.

We have worked so hard behind the scenes to bring you a weekend full of family fun, entertainment, rides, laughter, music and memories.

We wanted to see smiling faces.
We wanted to hear the laughter.
We wanted to give families a day to remember.

But sometimes, no matter how much you plan, prepare and hope… Mother Nature has other ideas. 🌧️💨

We could carry on and put on a poor show, but that simply isn't who we are.

You deserve better. ❤️

So, with incredibly heavy hearts, we have made the decision that putting safety first and protecting the quality of the event is the right thing to do.

To everyone who has supported us, shared our posts, bought tickets, brought the family along, supported our traders and entertainers, or simply cheered us on…

THANK YOU. ❤️

We know some of you will be disappointed — and believe us, we are too. This is our livelihood, our passion and something we pour our hearts into.

We genuinely wanted to put on something amazing for you all.

Unfortunately, this weekend, the weather just wouldn't play ball. 😔

But this isn't goodbye…

We’re really disappointed, but the safety and enjoyment of everyone attending has to come first. ❤️

💬 WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU — WHAT DOES A FAMILY REALLY WANT FROM A DAY OUT?

Here at Event City HQ, we’ve been having a big conversation about the future of family entertainment — and we want YOU to be part of it! ❤️

We’ve been talking to lots of businesses and venues, and one thing we’re hearing again and again is that footfall is becoming harder to achieve. Families have so much choice, and with the cost of living, everyone wants to know they’re getting real value for money.

We’re a small family entertainment events company, and we’ve spent many years working hard to create fun, affordable days out for families.

But we don’t want to simply carry on doing things because “that’s how we’ve always done it.”

We want to listen, learn and improve. 🙌

So, tell us… WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU COME BACK FOR MORE? 👇
