The people who'll guide your week.

We're so glad to welcome Alan Brown, Kirsten Agar, Debbie Bartholomew, Harshini Wikramanayake and Jayne Orton — who'll lead our closing Yoga Finale Class — to IYOGA Fest 2026.

A full week of teaching from voices the Iyengar community knows and trusts. This is rare time with teachers of this calibre, all in one place.

📌 A note for your diary: can't join us for the full week? Limited 2-day tickets go on sale 1 July, and a small number of single-day tickets follow in mid-August. Both are strictly limited — more details to come, so keep these dates in mind.

What does a day at IYOGA Fest feel like?

Morning asana while the grounds are still quiet. Pranayama before breakfast. Philosophy that stays with you long after. Afternoons to rest or wander. Evenings of music and storytelling.

No emails. No rushing. Just the practice, and the days unfolding the way they should.

Delighted to be included on their tour poster for 3rd September! The Trouble Notes are playing for IYoga Festival attendees in a special private performance this year. 🌺🎶🎻🎸

Troublemakers,
The tales from Eldbriaris echo across Europe!

This summer, in true Modern Bardic fashion, we'll travel across Germany, the UK, the Netherlands, France, Italy, and the Czech Republic, bringing the sounds of our new story world to festival fields, castles, forests, caves, theatres, and concert halls.

Some of these places have become second homes. Others will be new adventures. But everywhere we go, we'll be carrying the songs and stories of "Mnemorith: Echoes of Eldbriaris" with us.

Along the way we'll return to beloved festivals like Castlefest, Elfia, FolkEast, Annotopia, Fantasy Forest, and many more, while making new memories with old friends and new faces alike. Our Community is ever-growing. We couldn't be more thankful for it ❤️

Where will we see you this summer?

Here at IYOGA Festival team, we were saddened to hear of the passing of Bobby Clennell, a beloved Iyengar Yoga teacher,
author, and illustrator whose work touched the lives of students and teachers around the world. A tribute was paid to her by the Chair of the Iyengar Yoga Association UK which we've copied below:

"Certified in 1977, Bobby dedicated her life to the study and teaching of Iyengar Yoga, practising and learning under B. K. S. Iyengar and Geeta Iyengar over many decades. She first travelled to Pune in 1973 and returned more than thirty times throughout her life, remaining deeply connected to her teachers and the tradition she served with such devotion.

Based originally in England and later in New York, Bobby taught for many years at the New York Institute from 1994, where she was a core faculty member. Through her teaching, workshops,
writing, and illustrations, she helped make Iyengar Yoga accessible, clear, and inspiring for practitioners across the world.

She is especially remembered for her work supporting women’s yoga practice, including The Woman’s Yoga Book and Yoga for Breast Care, as well as her much-loved Pune Guide, which supported so many students on their first journeys to study in India.

Indeed, on a trip to Dublin in April 2011, Bobby signed many copies of The Woman’s Yoga Book for students and teachers attending her weekend workshop.

Bobby’s generosity, humour, creativity, and vibrant presence left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Her contribution to the Iyengar Yoga community is immense, and her legacy will continue to live on through her teachings and the many lives she touched.
With heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, students, and colleagues.

She will be deeply missed across the global Iyengar Yoga community. We will miss her too as she was excited to have been invited to teach at IYOGA Fest for 2027 and was looking forward to coming along as our guest this year. Bobby, we will miss you.

🎻 Big news from IYOGA Fest 2026 — and this one is very close to my heart.

I'm excited to announce that my friends, The Trouble Notes The Trouble Notes will be joining us this September at YMCA Fairthorne Manor for what promises to be very special performance.

If you haven't encountered The Trouble Notes before, prepare yourself. This Berlin-based progressive world folk trio — violinist Bennet Cerven, guitarist Florian Eisenschmidt and drummer George Bingham — have played Glastonbury, Boomtown, and some of Europe's biggest festival stages. Their self-described "Acoustic Dance Music" fuses folk roots, classical precision and global grooves into something that feels simultaneously wild and deeply, deeply moving.

Music has always been woven into the soul of IYOGA Fest. From our very first year, we've included live music in the program to give participants a chance to dance, sway and sing. The Trouble Notes encourage their audiences to do exactly that. When they play, they infect you with rhythm, movement and joy!

Having them at IYOGA Fest this year feels like bringing two worlds together that were always meant to meet — and I can’t wait to share that moment with everyone.

🗓️ IYOGA Fest 2026 runs 1–5 September 2026
