🎶 A ‘semi‑autonomous anarchic syndicalist community of musicians’ is coming to Melksham! 🎶

Formed in 2008 with a belief that music is social, communal and transformational, this lively group champions music free from the shackles of electrickery — made to parade through streets, villages and town centres around the world.

They’ll be kicking off Friday Light Live, a new, low‑cost summer event taking place on the last Friday of each month, starting this May.

Market Place will be transformed into a relaxed social space with tables and chairs, live performances and a welcoming atmosphere — encouraging residents and visitors to spend time in the town centre and enjoy local shops, cafés and pubs.

🎤 Performances may include musicians, dancers, poets, speakers and other creatives, with something different each month.
