'SAVE THE DATE Tuesday 12th September at our new venue 'Three Highgate' Gallery and at the new time of 7.00 for 7.30pm start. The booking link will be provided soon and as always booking is essential as we use a guest list at the door. There is limited seating so either come early to get seat or bring a cushion to sit at the ront on the floor. Guest speakers are artist Michele Turriani and curator James Putnam, founder curator of the British Museum's Contemporary Arts and Cultures Programme, discussing 'Endangered - Vestiges of Vanishing Species'. The gallery is 3 Highgate High Street, N6 5JR (nearest tube Archway, Northern line) and will be followed by drinks at the Duke's Head pub opposite the gallery.

Save The Date! We are delighted that our next joint speakers are Vanya Balogh and Martin Sexton, on Friday 21st July, 6.30 for 7.00pm start, at Bermondsey Project Space, 183-5 Bermondsey Street, London SE1 3UW. They will be in conversation and the topic is 'Art In The Time Of Digital Delirium.'

Entrance is by registering here, www.salonnoir.co.uk/events.html, as capacity is limited and there will be a guest list at the door. I attach an invitation for the talk and below is some more info about the speakers:

Vanya Balogh is an independent artist/curator/photographer who is known for curating the London Car Park exhibitions at Cavendish Square and exhibitions at the Venice Biennale. He exhibits with The London Group and has recently been appointed curator of Cross Lane Projects gallery in Shoreditch.

Martin Sexton is an artist/experimental writer/film maker who has exhibited widely including at Tate Britain and a solo at the 56th Venice Biennale. He was awarded the Tithe Grant, judged by Sir Alan Parker, for a short film featuring Princess Diana. Martin also produced the first global Sonic Art project, 'We Love You', which featured many who went on to exhibit in 'Sensations' at the Royal Academy.
