Many of us have been making the most of the recent warm weather, heading for the coast to enjoy days by the sea. Children play in the surf, build sandcastles, and families create memories that last a lifetime.

This reminds me of a commission I made a while ago to capture those special moments. Carefully selected textured glass reflects the warmth of a glowing sunset, the movement of the sea, and the golden tones of the beach, while the silhouetted figures evoke treasured holiday memories.

One of the things I love about stained glass is how it comes alive when sunlight shines through it. In many ways, it becomes a picture frame for a cherished memory, filling a room with colour and light. I hope the recipient is still enjoying this piece and the happy memories it represents.

Such beautiful weather at the moment… gardens coming into bloom and everything full of colour 🌸🌿
It feels like the perfect time to catch a little sunlight in the window ✨

Two little teardrops catching the light ✨

Handmade stained glass suncatchers, each one designed and crafted by hand.
Measuring approx 12 cm drop x 8 cm wide, they’re perfect for a window, conservatory, or garden hook.

The first piece features a soft floral design with iridescent petals that shimmer as the light moves, set against delicate textured glass.
The second captures a glowing sunrise over rolling hills, with warm amber and orange tones that really come alive in the sun.
The solder is finished in silver, although it may appear darker in the photos due to the contrast against the sky.

Each piece is cut, foiled, soldered and finished by hand, so no two will ever be exactly the same.

Each piece is individually made and completely bespoke to your design, making it a truly personal addition to your garden or a meaningful gift. These are previous ones I've made.

🌿 Reinforced for strength (non-rust metal)
🌿 Designed to sit neatly into your lawn
🌿 Colours stay vibrant all year round

Over time, the stone develops a natural patina, adding even more character.
