Open Studios Art Trail In & Around Oswestry : Over the two weekends of June 13/14 and 20/21, 10am to 5pm each day.

Two artists will be based at Hazel Mount, Pant, Oswestry

Dorothy Harrison – Ceramics, Mixed media
Dorothy’s main focus is ceramic sculpture; she also produces works on paper, combining drawing, print and collage.

Gill Crozier – Acrylics, Mixed media
Gill creates colourful abstract painting and drawings based on the structure, history and mood of landscape - especially disused industrial sites that have reshaped the land.

After writing a first draft, you've got something to work with... something to improve. I'm finding I'm still creating... still adding detail and ironing out plot-holes. Just have to keep reminding myself not to be scared of the process and to enjoy the journey.

Short Story Author Trixie Roberts is due to launch her new book 'Bananas' and invites you to join her at The Willow Gallery this Friday (28th September 2018) 6pm until 8pm.

Entrance is free, as is the wine (and the bananas).

Hear excerpts from the book, enjoy a Q&A session and purchase your own signed copy at £7 each.

I've had the pleasure of hearing many of her short and she has a fantastic gift for storytelling. I'm very much looking forward to attending the event, and I'm hoping some of you will come and join me.

This promises to be a wonderful event, hosted by Leaf by Leaf press, and is the fifth book by this company: a team of writers who pride themselves in supporting each other and publishing together, word by word, leaf by leaf.
