📅 Save the date!

We're delighted to announce that the Shropshire County Show will return on Saturday, 22nd May 2027. 🌾🚜

Following another fantastic Show in 2026, preparations are already underway and we have some exciting plans for 2027, including a brand new Countryside and Rural Life Zone and the launch of our Showmakers volunteer programme. We'll be sharing more details over the coming months, so keep an eye on our social media channels!

For now, make sure Saturday 22nd May 2027 is in your diary - we can't wait to welcome you back to the West Mid Showground.

Please note that next year's Show will take place one week earlier than our traditional late May Bank Holiday weekend date, giving even more families, schools, colleges and exhibitors the opportunity to be part of one of Shropshire's biggest celebrations of farming, food and rural life.

Huge congratulations to Shuker Group on their award win at the 2026 Shropshire Chamber Business Awards!

We are so grateful to all at the Shuker Group for their support for our show - signing up to be Premier Show Partners for a three-year-period, supporting set-up by providing volunteers - and being great sounding boards for all of the team in the run-up to the event!

From our stewards and ground teams to our site volunteers, office team and more - your time, effort and dedication make everything possible.

The show simply wouldn’t run without you, and we are so grateful for everything you do to help create such a special day for our community. 💚

What a day 🌾❤️

We have hundreds of photographs from Saturday’s Shropshire County Show and we wanted to share a small selection of them with you all.

From livestock competitions and main ring entertainment to trade stands, countryside attractions and smiling faces around the showground these photos capture just some of what made the day so special.

A huge thank you once again to everyone who attended, competed, exhibited, volunteered, sponsored and supported the Show this year.

As the sun goes down on the showground after a fantastic Shropshire County Show, we just wanted to say another huge thank you to everyone who helped make today so special ❤️

To our volunteers, competitors, traders, entertainers, sponsors, suppliers and visitors - thank you for being part of such a brilliant day for Shropshire agriculture and the wider community.

What a beautifully sunny, happy day here at the Shropshire County Show ☀️

The crowds are in, the entertainment is on, the traders are wowing us and the drinks in the sunshine are flowing 🎉

Huge thanks to all of our volunteers, suppliers and sponsors for their part in bringing together such a fantastic day - and of course to all of our competitors and visitors ❤️

It's show day! 🎉

The sun is out and it's going to be a fantastic day of entertainment here at the showground so please come and join us!

Here's some useful info to help you get the most out of your day...

✅ Gates open at 9am
✅ Adult tickets are £22 on the gate, and children under 16 are FREE.
✅ There is plenty of free parking on site.
✅ Traffic may be busy, so we advise leaving plenty of time to get to us
✅ The Severn Shuttle river taxi is running - follow the signs from Frankwell to the crossing point.
✅ Well-behaved dogs are welcome on a lead - don't forget to register for the Fun Dog Show when you arrive! There will be rest and shade areas, along with water available.
✅ A lot of our traders have card machine options but you can also get cash out from Show Reception throughout the day.
✅ Baby-changing facilities are available next to Show Reception.

The gates will open at 9am for today’s Shropshire County Show!

The temperatures are forecast to reach around 22 degrees so if you are bringing your dog along to the show today please do utilise our rest and shaded areas and the water available for dogs in our Canine Area 👍

⛔️ Under no circumstances should a dog be left in a vehicle in our car park.
