After painting glassware for over twenty years, Sue and I have decided to put away our paintbrushes and call it a day. It's not a decision we came to easily as we've had so much fun over the years and have met some really lovely people. We've sold our glassware far and wide, not just in the UK but overseas too. But age (lol) health and the tax man has meant it's no longer something we can continue with. It does mean we'll both be able to pursue other things.
It also means we do have some stocks of glassware still for sale until we run out. With Mothers day fast approaching we're selling a few vases, for a VERY special cause.
This year, my son Elliot is running the London Marathon for a second time. He ran it a couple of years ago on behalf of Tommy's, the charity that funds research into miscarriages. This time however, he runs for PACT (Parents and Children together), a fantastic charity that supports the adoption journey, something incredibly near and dear to our hearts. Without this type of support my son and his wife wouldn't be the amazing parents they are to my gorgeous granddaughter who they adopted two years ago.
100% of the sale proceeds of these vases will go towards Elliot's fundraising. So a win win.
